I have titled this blog entry under the old “$1000/month challenge”……this was the category that I gave to blogs about The Vulture when it first came out. My original goal was to make $1000/month playing NL50. Looking back at my old posts now and that figure seems laughable.
Despite the fact that I havent made $1000/month since the first month in December, the hourly rate is such now that all I basically have to do is put the hours in. At $28.70/hour since the 1st June, this would equate to $4592/month if played for 40 hours a week as a full-time job.
Like I said in my previous posts, I have been practicing my concentration levels and if I can make $25+/hour this month whilst having several bad tilty sessions then I am hoping for more next month. If I can peak out at say $30/hour with better concentration and then try to slowly increase tables one at a time then I could be hitting $50/hour with this by the end of the year.
I certainly think that this is a possibility and now I am totally fixated with just how far I can push The Vulture to its maximum combat ceiling (to quote an aerial term). If $50/hour is possible then this equates to $8000/month as a full-time working job and for NL50 with low variance…….well I wouldnt say its a miracle because that is a word too widely used but incredible would be a far better word.
There are many regs at NL200-NL600 not pulling down that kind of money. I am still making mistakes though, yesterday for instance I lost $20 in a pot that really should have been less than half that amount. These little things niggle me but they are just another step on the road to reaching the optimal Vulture performance…….how high can The Vulture soar…….watch this space.
